Veterinarians, farriers, trainers and breeders add what they know, with the owner's permission and their name attached.
How contributions work
- Attributed: each entry shows who contributed it and in what role.
- Authorized: professionals contribute to a horse's record by the owner's invitation.
- Protected: owners decide who sees an entry, but cannot silently rewrite what a professional recorded. Disagreements go through the correction process, and the history is kept.
- Labeled honestly: observations about temperament or suitability appear as your dated opinion, never as a Horsefax guarantee.

Owners can already record your visits and attach your documents to the horse's record, labeled as owner-entered. Professional accounts, with invitations from owners and entries submitted in your own name, are the next step in our build.
